Craig Abrams, Ph.D.
Dr. Abrams graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Vermont and then interned at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He served as the Director of Clinical Training at Chicago's Mount Sinai Hospital prior to moving to Wisconsin. Dr. Abrams now practices in both Sheboygan and Mequon – treating both adults and children. He concentrates on eating disorders, anxiety disorders (including panic, OCD, phobia), mood disorders, and children’s behavioral issues. Dr. Abrams lives in Milwaukee with his wife and two children.
Sue is the Administrative Coordinator of Northshore Clinic. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She provides treatment to adult individuals with an expertise in grief and bereavement, anxiety, depression, stress disorders, compulsive overeating and post-bariatric lifestyle adjustment. Focus for treatment utilizes strengths and understanding of self to resolve concerns and support growth using a cognitive behavioral approach. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
Patti holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years experience specializing in the treatment of sexual assault, sexual abuse and trauma. She treats child and adult victims, and also conducts adolescent perpetrator psychosexual evaluations. In addition, she has expertise in the areas of divorce, women’s issues, depression and anxiety. As an instructor for the State of Wisconsin, she provides the mandatory 30 hours of training for Social Workers and Intake Workers. Patti also conducts custody studies for the courts, provides divorce mediations for the Family Court, and teaches the “Remember the Children” class for divorcing parents. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, the Academy of Certified Social Workers and is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work.
Lori holds a Master's Degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in counseling individuals, couples, and families. She has post-graduate training in Solution-Focused (Brief) Therapy and a special interest in marital counseling. She uses a variety of methods to assist clients in reaching treatment goals and provides an environment of respect, empathy and collaboration in the treatment process. Lori is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional and a popular speaker in workplaces, focusing on communication and conflict resolution in workplace relationships.
Kristine hold's a Master's Degree and is a Licensed Professional Counselor who works with adults and adolescents. She has had intensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, a specialized treatment that focuses on building skills (communication, distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation) while addressing emotional issues and past trauma. She brings this skills-based approach into her work with various disorders of mood and anxiety; but also with individuals who are experiencing work, relationship and other adjustment issues. Kristine offers part-time hours to adolescents and adults.
Susan is licensed as an Advanced Practice Social Worker and is a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and a Licensed School Counselor. She provides AODA assessments and alcohol and drug abuse counseling to adults and adolescents needing to complete their OWI program, as well as AODA counseling for individuals and groups. Susan has a State License and is certified as an AODA Supervisor, Level II. She offers part-time hours at Northshore.
Patricia Horn, Ph.D.
As a Licensed Psychologist, Dr. Horn's experience includes individual, group and couples therapy with a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, anger, pain and communication problems. She is warm and understanding and helps her clients learn the skills they need to recognize and build on their strengths, solve problems effectively, and live a full and happy life each day. Dr. Horn's specialization area, Health Psychology/Behavioral Medicine, involves helping individuals with medical problems develop ways to reduce their symptoms, cope with chronic conditions and increase functioning. She offers part-time hours at Northshore.
Jeff holds a Master's Degree and is a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 25 years experience providing marriage, family and adolescent therapy. Jeff is experienced in treating AODA-related issues, including co-dependency with adult survivors of childhood trauma, men's issues and Christian-based counseling. He has facilitated incest survivor groups, men's support groups, stress management groups, depression and anxiety groups, and life coping skills groups.
Ralph is an experienced chemical dependency counselor and one of a handful of people who is certified as a Relapse Prevention Specialist. He also has expertise in Stage II Recovery issues. Ralph works with adults and adolescents offering group, family and individual sessions. He offers part-time hours at Northshore.
Wendy holds a Master's Degree and is licensed as a Professional Counselor and as a School Counselor. She enjoys providing therapy for children, adolescents and adults. Wendy uses a wholistic approach mind, body, and spirit in treating a wide variety of issues including those relating to attention and behavior, eating disorders and body image, anxiety and mood, school and work, abuse and self-mutilation, trauma and grief, and anger management. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Association for Multicultural Counseling.
